Visit Ganjeolgot This Weekend... Saeul Headquarters to Host This Year's 'Ganjeolgot Specialty Products Grand Festival'
A Festival Filled with Seosaeng's Specialty Products
The 2025 Ganjeolgot Specialty Products Grand Festival, sponsored by Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters and hosted by the Seosaeng-myeon Residents' Self-Governing Committee (Chairperson Lee Jin-ho), will be held over two days on June 14 and 15 at Ganjeolgot Park in Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju-gun.
Now in its seventh year, the Ganjeolgot Specialty Products Grand Festival aims to promote and boost sales of local specialties from Seosaeng-myeon, such as Seosaeng pears, seaweed, tomatoes, anchovies, and kelp, in order to revitalize the local economy.
In addition to the promotion and sale of local specialty products, the festival will offer a variety of attractions and entertainment, including performances by community center programs, a children's choir, a flea market, food trucks, various hands-on activities, and celebratory performances.
In particular, the second day of the festival will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display as the grand finale.
The celebratory performances on June 15 will feature Park Ji-hyun, Seo Ji-o, Park Seung-hyun, Kim Dana, Choi Ji-ye, and Jang Jae-ho, while on June 16, Jeong Dong-won, Park Seong-on, Bae Jin-a, Sogeun, and Koo Soo-kyung will perform.
Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters will also hold a special event: visitors who present receipts showing purchases of 100,000 won or more in the Seosaeng area will receive specialty products, and those who add the Saeul Headquarters KakaoTalk channel 'Saeullim' as a friend or follow the Instagram account will receive a folding fan and wet wipes.
