"Walking and Picking Up Trash": Lotte Mall Dongbusan and Residents Join 'Plogging' for Environmental Protection
Lotte Mall Dongbusan has launched a 'plogging' campaign, where participants walk and pick up trash together with the local community.
On June 12, to mark World Environment Day, Lotte Mall Dongbusan held the 'RE:EARTH WEEK' plogging campaign around Osiria Station in cooperation with the Gijang-gun Social Welfare Center.
This event was organized as part of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management to raise awareness of environmental protection by collecting litter from the local area together with residents. Participants picked up discarded trash and waste while walking through the area.
Yoon Hyungjin, manager of Lotte Mall Dongbusan, said, "Through environmental action activities with local residents, we aim to create a sustainable local community," adding, "We will continue to promote environmental protection and strive for mutual growth with the community through various ESG programs."
