Dongsin University, Chodang University, and Mokpo Science University, which are promoting the establishment of a regional public small but strong university consortium (UCC) after receiving preliminary designation as a Glocal University by the Ministry of Education, recently co-hosted the "2025 Academic Year UCC Learning Know-How Contest Awards Ceremony" at Dongsin University.


According to Dongsin University on June 12, the contest was jointly planned and operated by the three universities. It was designed to help students enhance their capabilities by sharing their self-directed learning experiences in various content formats and exchanging learning know-how.


Participating students creatively expressed their self-directed learning strategies, time management methods, and experiences in learning motivation through a variety of formats, including essays, PPT presentations, card news, and videos.


A total of 40 students participated, and 23 students received awards: 1 Grand Prize, 2 Excellence Awards, 4 Merit Awards, 6 Encouragement Awards, and 10 Honorable Mentions.


The Grand Prize was awarded to Park Jin, a student in the Department of Counseling Psychology at Dongsin University. Park Jin commented, "It was a meaningful experience to interact and work together with students from other universities through this contest. I hope there will be more joint programs like this in the future."
