The delivery ceremony, held at Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae on June 10, was attended by Secretary General Kim Donggeuk and representatives from the 25 social welfare facilities selected for the second phase of the Priority Support Project for Welfare Issues.
The "Priority Support Project for Welfare Issues," which began in 2019 and marks its seventh year in 2025, is Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae's flagship public contest project. It was established to create specialized and leading programs to address community problems and welfare issues, and to help build a rapid response system for urgent welfare needs, such as emergency facility upgrades in the local community.
This year, applications for the Priority Support Project for Welfare Issues began in April. After a document review and on-site evaluation in May, a final total of 25 facilities were selected to receive approximately KRW 341 million in support.
Kim Donggeuk, Secretary General of Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae, stated, "I hope this project will be helpful to social welfare facilities and organizations that need prompt welfare assistance," adding, "We will do our best to provide timely support as we carry out the fund distribution project."
