Kyungnam College of Information & Technology Launches 'Digital Literacy Enhancement' Program for Adult Learners
Kyungnam College of Information & Technology recently held the "Beginner's Escape Project: Basic Computer and Hangul" workshop at its Centum Campus to enhance digital literacy among adult learners.
This program, which was offered completely free of charge, invited professional instructors including Yoo Mihee from Nauri Education Consulting. It was designed for approximately 60 adult learners who are not familiar with computers, enabling them to build skills from the basics to practical applications. The hands-on classes received highly positive feedback from participants.
The Center for Teaching and Learning Support at Kyungnam College of Information & Technology plans to follow up this workshop with a three-week "Basic Computer Master Program" during the summer vacation period. This program has been designed as a customized learning support initiative that reflects the diverse digital learning needs of both adult learners and enrolled students.
Lee Sungwook, Dean of Academic Affairs, stated, "Based on our educational philosophy of being a 'university for all,' Kyungnam College of Information & Technology will continue to expand customized learning support programs for a wide range of learners, including adult learners and international students."
