View original imageThe Loyalty and Valor Ceremony is a unique event of the Department of Military Science, conducted every semester to honor the loyalty of Admiral Yi Sun-sin and the noble spirit of sacrifice of the nation's fallen heroes. Through this ceremony, cadet students internalize the posture and mission of a soldier and reaffirm their commitment to defending their country.
Na Seunghak, head of the Department of Military Science, stated, "The Loyalty and Valor Ceremony is not merely a formal drill or a memorial event, but a time for cadets to make a genuine pledge as future officers." He added, "I hope our students will emulate the spirit of Admiral Yi Sun-sin and grow into strong leaders who remain steadfast even in times of crisis."
Im Jihwan, who read the oath on behalf of the students, pledged, "I will deeply remember the sacrifices of the fallen soldiers and Admiral Yi Sun-sin, and will strive to become an officer who always puts the country and its people first."
The Department of Military Science at Dongmyung University is dedicated to nurturing responsible and creative officers through practical leadership training and security education. Through this Loyalty and Valor Ceremony, students reaffirmed their identity and sense of duty as officers and experienced the practical value of their academic training.
