Values Together," will feature a variety of programs that promote and encourage the practice of sustainable consumption (Sustainable), healthy consumption (Healthy), alternative consumption (Alternative), responsible consumption (Responsible), and eco-friendly consumption (Eco-friendly).
The event is organized around four main themes: ▲Value, Meet ▲Value, Enjoy ▲Value, Experience ▲Value, Shop.
In the 'Value, Meet' section, the meaning of the social economy and the environmental and ethical responsibilities of companies will be introduced through booklets and exhibitions. There will also be a value-based consumption campaign, encouraging people to choose products according to their beliefs and values. The focus will be on highlighting the reasons for purchasing products from social economy enterprises.
'Value, Enjoy' will feature cultural performances for the whole family. The program is designed so that office workers can enjoy performances while having a simple meal on the steps of Magok Square during lunchtime. Notably, a variety of artists will perform, including Jungsiki, the original singer of the national comfort song "I Am a Firefly," as well as the Picavo Band and Sineul Wihayeo.
'Value, Experience' will include the Haebom Market (a flea market), a thrifty sharing marketplace for children, and the Haebom Playground. Children will have the opportunity to run the market themselves, allowing them to experience the value of resource circulation and the economy in a natural way. They can also participate in craft and play programs.
In the 'Value, Shop' section, visitors can browse and purchase products made by social economy enterprises and small business owners. There will also be upcycled products made from discarded banners and used clothing, as well as local specialties such as gochujang and hangwa made from Gyeongbokgung rice. In addition, about 100 pairs of unused jeans donated by district office employees have been upcycled into handbags and wallets, which will also be available for sale.
