Jeonnam Province to Identify Resident-Inconveniencing Regulations Throughout June
Livelihood Economy, Jobs, and Future Industries
Jeonnam Province will operate a month-long campaign in June called "Find It, Resident-Inconveniencing Regulations!" to identify and address regulations that residents feel most acutely, as part of its efforts to promote regulatory innovation.
This focused campaign aims to resolve regulations that restrict residents' social and economic activities, as well as business operations. Until June 30, any resident can participate through the administrative regulatory improvement portal on Jeonnam Province's official website.
The areas of focus include all aspects of provincial administration, such as: ▲ the local economy, including self-employed individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises, and small business owners ▲ jobs, including youth employment and entrepreneurship, and career interruptions ▲ future industries, including new technologies and new industries ▲ health and welfare, including childbirth, childcare, and support for the elderly ▲ daily life, including single-person households, education, safety, and the environment.
Jeonnam Province will review the submitted suggestions and, for central government regulations, will submit them directly to the "Regulatory Reform Sinmungo" and the "SME Ombudsman," managing the overall progress. For local regulations, the province will cooperate with relevant departments and city and county governments to pursue internal improvements.
Yoon Jin-ho, Director General for Planning and Coordination of Jeonnam Province, said, "Regulatory innovation begins with the voices of our residents. I hope many people will show interest and participate in this focused campaign for regulatory innovation, where even small changes can have a big impact."
