Yongin City Creates "Garden-Style Barefoot Trail" at Sinbong Sports Park
A 100-Meter Barefoot Trail
Winding Through a Seasonal Garden
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province will create and operate a "barefoot trail with a garden" at Sinbong Sports Park in Sinbong-dong, Suji-gu.
This barefoot trail is a dedicated walking path made by mixing loess and decomposed granite, measuring 1.3 to 1.6 meters in width and 100 meters in length. The trail features a loess ball experience area, a garden reflecting the seasons, as well as convenient facilities such as a foot-washing station, shoe rack, and shade canopy.
The city invested 200 million won from its budget for the project, beginning the design in January this year and completing construction this month.
