Woori Investment & Securities Launches On-Exchange Bond Trading Service on Its MTS
Woori Investment & Securities announced on June 9 that it has newly introduced an "on-exchange bond trading service" to its mobile trading system (MTS), "WooriWON MTS." Following the launch of its "over-the-counter domestic bond trading service" on April 28, the addition of the on-exchange bond trading feature now enables investors to manage their domestic bond investments more efficiently and comprehensively within a mobile environment.
The newly introduced "on-exchange bond trading service" allows users to trade bonds listed on the Korea Exchange directly in the on-exchange market based on real-time prices, similar to stock trading. In particular, the service features a user interface optimized for mobile devices, which enhances both accessibility to information and convenience of trading.
Through the previously launched "over-the-counter domestic bond trading service," Woori Investment & Securities has been providing high-quality bonds such as government bonds on a regular basis. The company also offers a diverse lineup of customized products tailored to different investment purposes, including low-coupon bonds for reducing comprehensive financial income tax, high-coupon bonds for higher interest income, and short-term liquidity bonds with maturities of less than three months.
Additionally, the detailed bond information screens provide advanced investment support features, such as yield simulation based on interest rate fluctuations.
A representative from Woori Investment & Securities stated, "Amid recent changes in the interest rate environment, bonds are a core asset that can contribute to portfolio stability, thanks to their fixed interest rates and stable maturity structure." The representative added, "WooriWON MTS continues to evolve into a comprehensive, customer-centric investment platform through the phased expansion of its functionalities." They further noted, "Going forward, we plan to strengthen the digital platform's capabilities to support investment and management across a wide range of asset classes, including not only on-exchange and over-the-counter bonds, but also ETFs, pensions, and more."
