The 'Pulmuone Factory' program at the Eumseong plant is a free tour program designed to allow customers to directly observe the product manufacturing process and logistics site, as well as to experience sustainable food culture. Since its launch in 2008, the program has attracted a cumulative total of about 35,000 visitors as of last year.
First, in the cooking studio located on the third floor of the factory, new features have been introduced to improve convenience and satisfaction for visitors, including monitors that display the cooking process in real time and tasting stations where customers can sample the tofu of their choice. In addition, visitors can use Pulmuone kitchen appliances such as the Pulmuone Steam Cook Air Fryer, which are installed in the studio, to enjoy Pulmuone's sustainable foods more easily and deliciously.
On the factory rooftop, an eco-friendly relaxation facility called the 'Factory Garden' has been created, providing a space where program participants can relax and connect with nature. This area includes rest facilities as well as a vegetable garden experience zone where visitors can plant and tend soybeans themselves, offering a unique and meaningful experience for both children and adults.
Based on this facility renovation, Pulmuone plans to gradually expand its 'Pulmuone Factory' experience events, which have so far focused on group participation, to include individual customers as well. Customers interested in participating in the factory tour can apply through the Pulmuone factory tour website.
A Pulmuone representative stated, "We have renovated the tour facilities not only to improve customer experience satisfaction but also to enhance understanding of sustainable food culture," adding, "Going forward, we will continue to offer a variety of content, such as seasonal experience events utilizing the Factory Garden, so that the Eumseong tofu factory can establish itself as a leading space for the spread of sustainable food culture."
