Eduwill: 44% of Adults Want Successful Employment or Job Change After Certification
Announcement of Certification Awareness Survey Results
Eduwill announced on June 9 that, according to the results of its "Certification Awareness Survey" conducted on 160 adult men and women in their 20s to 50s, 44% of respondents cited "successful employment or job change" as the most anticipated change after obtaining a certification.
This was followed by ▲restoring self-esteem (21.3%), ▲economic stability (17.5%), and ▲a new start (15%), indicating that certifications are perceived as practical means for achieving employment and job change.

View original imageWhen asked what certifications currently mean to them, 36.3% of respondents answered "a stepping stone to a better job." ▲A challenge in a new field (25%) and ▲a means to prove oneself (22.5%) were also significant, followed by ▲alleviating anxiety about the future (12.5%) and ▲demonstrating effort to parents or family (3.7%).
When asked for the first word that comes to mind with "certification," "challenge" ranked first with 67.5% (multiple responses allowed). This was followed by ▲growth (41.9%), ▲opportunity (33.1%), ▲stability (13.1%), and ▲economic reward (11.3%).
The most prominent emotion felt during the certification study process was "burden" at 28.1%, followed by ▲anticipation (27.5%), ▲sense of achievement (19.4%), and ▲pride (16.2%) at similar levels.
