This program allows urban residents to stay in rural areas for a certain period and experience returning to farming or rural living. The students participated in agricultural activities and interacted with local residents, gaining indirect experience of rural life.
Next, the students toured the "Returning Farmers Experience Nest" site. This project provides temporary housing for those hoping to return to farming, and a total of three such locations are operated by Jangseong County.
Park Eonjeong, Director of the Jangseong County Agricultural Technology Center, said, "I hope this field trip will give participants an opportunity to experience the life of returning to farming and rural living up close," adding, "We plan to continue providing systematic support with the Returning Farmers School at the center."
