Samsung Electronics Unveils 'Color E-Paper' That Maintains Display Without Power
Power Consumption of '0.00W' When Maintaining Display... Maximized Energy Efficiency
QHD Resolution and Ultra-Slim Design... Launch of Single 32-Inch Model
Supports Real-Time Remote Management... Strengthening Commercial Market Strategy
Samsung Electronics announced on June 8 that it will launch its digital signage, the 'Samsung Color E-Paper,' which can maintain its display without consuming power, in global markets.
This product is an ultra-low power display that applies ink technology to digital paper, consuming only 0.00 watts of power when maintaining the screen. Even when changing the display, it uses significantly less power compared to conventional digital signage, resulting in high energy efficiency.
The launch model is a single 32-inch version, supporting QHD (Quad High Definition, 2560×1440) resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. QHD offers four times the resolution of standard HD. The thinnest part measures only 8.6mm, and the weight, including the battery, is 2.5kg, making installation and transport easy.
Samsung Electronics explained that it has enhanced visibility by applying its proprietary color imaging algorithm, and that real-time remote operation is possible through the signage content management platform 'Samsung VXT.'
