DPK Calls for Investigation into "Reebok School Far-Right Indoctrination" ... National Assembly to Hold Emergency Inquiry on the 11th
"We Will Not Tolerate Attempts at Public Opinion Manipulation... Those Responsible Will Be Held Accountable"
The Democratic Party of Korea has called for a thorough investigation into allegations of public opinion manipulation and far-right ideological education by the far-right group "Reebok School."
On June 7, floor spokesperson Noh Jongmyeon stated in a written briefing, "We must clearly uncover how and to what extent Reebok School carried out public opinion manipulation, what kind of far-right propaganda was used in attempts to indoctrinate children, and who is behind these actions," adding, "A thorough investigation through a fair process is urgently needed."
Noh also said, "A large number of materials promoting the 'rigged election conspiracy theory' were found at the Reebok School office, and there are reports that 11 instructors affiliated with the Korea Neulbom Education Association, established by Reebok School CEO Son Hyosuk, have been conducting lectures at educational sites," expressing concern that "there may be even more undisclosed issues."
He further stated, "We will not stand idly by any attempts to disrupt our society through public opinion manipulation or to contaminate the sanctity of educational sites with far-right indoctrination, and we will hold those responsible fully accountable."
