View original imageOn June 2, the two institutions signed a business agreement for cooperation related to the 'Green Startup Town' in the main conference room of the Namgu District Office. This agreement aims to establish a collaborative system to create a startup ecosystem and to discover and nurture innovative startups in the region.
Under the agreement, Dongmyung University will provide its research capabilities and startup infrastructure, while Namgu will offer administrative support and connect local networks to generate tangible synergy.
Lee Sangcheon, President of Dongmyung University, stated, "Through our cooperation with Namgu, we will actively support startups so they can settle stably in the region and become a new growth engine."
Oh Euntaek, Mayor of Namgu District, also emphasized, "By combining Dongmyung University's startup capabilities with Namgu's resources, we will establish a foundation where startups can realize their dreams," adding, "This agreement will serve as an opportunity to provide real opportunities for local youth."
Dongmyung University and Namgu plan to further specify practical cooperation measures, including the operation of joint programs, the creation of startup support spaces, and mentoring for entrepreneurs.
