In the area where the beauty pavilion and industrial exhibition are integrated, K-beauty products that combine technology and sensibility?such as AI, natural ingredients, and devices?captivated the interest of attendees.
AI beauty tech company Twinit offered a service that scans visitors' faces to recommend makeup styles and personal colors, resulting in long lines of mostly young people in front of the booth. Young visitors were especially drawn to Unique's clay-type bath bomb, Bubble Clay.
Products utilizing Seonghwan pear, a specialty of Cheonan, were also introduced in succession. Fortuna showcased a low-irritation exfoliator made with sclereids extracted from pear skin and flesh.
Lab2Bottle introduced Pearfect, a pear-based liquor with an alcohol content of 28%, while Greenland presented pear ginger syrup, among other products, and both companies held tasting events.
In addition, a variety of brands such as Nongshim, Namyang Dairy Products, and Yangban showcased their products to visitors.
The Hangul Pavilion, which was expanded from a small corner to a full exhibition hall this year, features traditional costume experiences, exhibition content, and company booths.
Ranporal presented "Hunminjeonghwa" accessories that combine Hangul and flowers, as well as "Heungyi," a character based on the consonant "ㅎ." The company explained, "Although the standard term is 'Hieut,' we chose 'Heungyi' for ease of pronunciation and to fit our brand universe," and announced plans to expand into props and emoticon businesses.
Designwing exhibited "Hangullak," a set of spoons and chopsticks featuring consonant designs, while Hangrae operated a booth where visitors could experience making traditional lacquerware and books.
Meanwhile, in addition to beauty, food, and Hangul, the expo also features industrial exhibition halls for K-webtoons, video content, and games.
