Busan Veterans Affairs Office Veterans Support Center Holds Digital Competency Enhancement Workshop
Hands-on training aimed at enhancing digital skills for veterans was held in Busan.
The Veterans Support Center of the Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (Director Namil Lee) hosted a digital competency enhancement workshop for veteran members on June 4 at the Eurasia Platform at Busan Station.
This workshop was conducted in collaboration with the Busan Digital Learning Center, which provided instructors. The focus was on increasing understanding of digital technologies and strengthening practical application capabilities. Fifteen veterans who had served for five years or more attended the event and participated in hands-on training utilizing artificial intelligence technologies.
Participants had the opportunity to learn digital skills more easily and practically through exercises such as information searching and content creation using ChatGPT, as well as producing videos themselves with PIXVERSE, an AI-based video production application. The event also included briefings on veteran support programs and the latest employment information.
The Veterans Support Center currently operates at ten locations nationwide, providing a variety of employment and entrepreneurship support services for veterans who have served for five years or more, including one-on-one career counseling, tailored job information, educational and training cost support, and career transition grants.
