Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly Launches 'Helpline' for Reporting Unfair Practices and Abuse of Power Within the Organization
The Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly is operating an 'Online Anonymous Reporting Center (Helpline)'.
The Helpline is an institutional mechanism designed to allow individuals to safely report various issues within the organization?such as corruption, human rights violations, abuse of power, sexual misconduct, and unfair practices?without revealing their identity.
Reports can be submitted via an online banner within the legislative portal system, which serves as the Assembly's administrative platform. The Helpline is managed by a specialized external operator and is run under a strict security system.
IP addresses and access logs are not collected, and the system is completely separated from external networks, ensuring the highest level of anonymity and information security.
Reports can be made either under the reporter's real name or anonymously. Once a report is received, the personnel officer verifies objective evidence and the facts, then processes the case promptly and fairly according to the relevant procedures.
For real-name reporters, the results are communicated individually, while anonymous reporters can check the outcome through the system. However, simple civil complaints, slanderous content, and requests for regulatory interpretation are excluded from processing.
