NH Nonghyup Bank Provides Financial Education at Elementary School
Mobile Banking Education Session Held at Bunae Elementary School in Seocheon, Chungnam
Providing Financial Education and Hands-On Banking Experience for All Students
On May 30, NH Nonghyup Bank announced that it had conducted a "mobile banking education" session at Bunae Elementary School in Seocheon, Chungnam, the previous day.
Celebrating its ninth year in 2025, the "mobile banking education" program visits schools in financially underserved areas, including regions at risk of depopulation, to provide financial education. The program consists of financial education classes, job experience as a bank employee, and a tour of the bus-type mobile branch (NH Wings), with participation from the university student volunteer group N Dolphin.
This session was tailored to the entire student body of Bunae Elementary School, dividing them into lower and upper grades. Lower grade students experienced opening bank accounts and issuing cards, while upper grade students participated in activities such as foreign currency exchange to experience the role of a bank employee.
Students also boarded the bus-type mobile branch (NH Wings) to experience real banking equipment, such as using bill counters and counterfeit detectors to identify counterfeit bills.
