KORAIL to Expand Train Operations During Next Month's Golden Holiday
Train operations will be expanded during the golden holiday period next month.
Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) announced on May 29 that it will add six KTX services and ten regular train services from June 5 to June 8, increasing the number of available seats by 8,000 compared to normal operations.
On June 5, six additional KTX trains will run on the Gyeongbu and Honam lines in the afternoon. From June 6 to June 8, ten regular train services will be added on the Gyeongbu, Jeolla, and Donghae lines.
The timetable and other details for the additional trains can be found on the 'KORAIL Talk' mobile app, the KORAIL website, and at ticket counters in stations nationwide.

A KORAIL official stated, "We plan to increase the number of available seats to meet the expected rise in train demand during the holiday period," adding, "We will do our best to ensure safe and comfortable train services throughout the holidays."
