The medical staff from Shinsegae Eye Clinic visited the site in person and conducted various examinations, including vision tests, cataract screenings, and eye disease screenings, for about 80 local residents, such as seniors eligible for preferential treatment, basic livelihood security recipients, and people with disabilities. The service received a very positive response.
Since signing a "Free Ophthalmic Examination Service Agreement" in 2019, the two organizations have continuously provided medical volunteer services to local residents. They have also led efforts to realize a happy community by delivering donations through the "Stairs of Love Health Campaign" and supporting cataract surgeries for low-income residents.
Cho Ikmoon stated, "We are pleased to be able to provide various volunteer services for citizens at subway stations," and added, "We will continue to do our best to make the city subway a source of hope by extending various helping hands."
