Gwangju Education Research and Information Institute Completes Nationwide Education Administration Data Integration
Integration of Dispersed Education Data
Expectations for Policy Analysis and Administrative Efficiency
The Gwangju Office of Education's Education Research and Information Institute announced on May 27 that it has completed network integration with the 'Education Administration Data Integrated Management System,' the first among all metropolitan and provincial offices of education nationwide.
This system is a national platform that supports the integration, management, analysis, and utilization of dispersed education administration data, including the next-generation NEIS, K-Edufine, information disclosure, and education statistics.
Since February of this year, the Gwangju Education Research and Information Institute has carried out four rounds of network integration work. With this integration, the Gwangju Office of Education, its affiliated institutions, and schools are now equipped to collect and analyze education data held by the Ministry of Education and the 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education nationwide.
Previously, analysis was conducted mainly using data from individual offices of education, but with this integration, it has become possible to compare education policies and utilize administrative data on a nationwide scale.
Superintendent Lee Jungseon stated, "We have established a foundation that allows us to easily find data in one place and combine and analyze the desired information," adding, "This will contribute to improving administrative efficiency and the effectiveness of policy utilization."
