Jung-gu, Seoul Recruiting Trainees for Free Home Repair Skills Program
'Sangsaeng Technology Academy Home Repair'
Training Program for Residents to Learn Practical Skills
Recruiting Trainees Until June 12
Jung-gu, Seoul is recruiting 20 trainees for the "Sangsaeng Technology Academy Home Repair" program, which teaches both the theory and practical skills needed for home repairs, until June 12.
The Sangsaeng Technology Academy Home Repair course was designed to help residents address home repair issues on their own, taking into account the area's characteristic abundance of aging houses in the old downtown. This is the first year the program is being offered.
Jung-gu expects the program to be useful for residents, as home repair skills can be utilized for volunteer work to assist neighbors in need. Additionally, after acquiring basic training, participants can assess their aptitude and interest in the field, and then pursue employment or start a business through advanced learning.
This training will be held at Chungmuro Startup Cube (265 Toegye-ro, Jung-gu) over five days (a total of 15 hours) from June 23 to June 27. The curriculum covers both theory and hands-on practice, focusing on practical topics such as basic information about tools used in home repair, as well as lighting, faucets, window screens, door locks, and painting.
