Participating youth deepened their understanding of these careers through interviews with veterinarians and zookeepers, as well as tours of the medical office and animal care facilities.
Gwangsan District Kumdream provides out-of-school youth with various opportunities for vocational experiences to help them explore career paths and gain motivation. Last year, 55 youth participated in vocational experience programs for careers such as drone pilot, nurse, and woodworking designer. This year, the center will continue to offer career support for youth, including those preparing for university entrance.
Center Director Ha Youngja said, "I hope that through these vocational experiences, youth will gain understanding and motivation regarding their future careers," adding, "We will continue to provide practical and meaningful opportunities going forward."
