Recruitment Open Until June 5
Daejeon Technopark announced on May 22 that it is recruiting three companies to participate in the "Quantum Industry Innovation Infrastructure Establishment Project" until June 5.
The project targets companies or startups seeking to transition into quantum-related businesses and will be carried out through two sub-projects: support for quantum transition startups and support for quantum project matching.
The support for quantum transition startups will select two companies, each receiving up to 40 million KRW. The quantum project matching support will provide up to 50 million KRW to one company selected for a national quantum project.
Companies wishing to participate in the project can apply online through the Daejeon TP website or the Daejeon Business Information Portal.
Kim Wooyeon, President of Daejeon TP, stated, "Daejeon City is actively preparing for the era of quantum industrialization, as demonstrated by signing a business agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build a quantum technology ecosystem," and added, "We will meticulously support the needs of companies seeking to transition to the quantum industry by utilizing Daejeon's unique quantum infrastructure."
