Hecto Group to Hold Recruitment-Linked AI Competition
AI Model Development for Vehicle Type Classification Based on Used Car Images
Hecto Group will hold an AI competition linked to recruitment in order to discover outstanding artificial intelligence (AI) talent.
On May 22, Hecto Group announced that it plans to secure talent capable of implementing data processing automation and advancing AI modeling environments through the first half of this year's Hecto Recruitment AI Competition, 'HAI! Hecto AI Challenge.'
This competition, which focuses on developing an AI model for vehicle type classification based on used car images, is open to everyone interested in AI, from high school students to the general public. Participants can compete individually or form teams of up to three members.
Hecto Group will select five teams through code verification and a final presentation evaluation, based on criteria such as model performance, data utilization, and applicability. The offline presentation evaluation and awards ceremony are scheduled for July 4. The total prize pool is 26 million won, with 10 million won awarded to the first-place winner. Competition winners will be exempt from the document screening and first-round interview when applying for a position at Hecto Group.
