Osan City to Offer 12% Osaekjeon Cashback Event During Yamaek Festival

Osan City in Gyeonggi Province will hold an event offering up to 12% cashback to users of the local currency, Osaekjeon, for three days from June 5 to June 7, during the 'Yamaek Festival'.
The event applies to all Osaekjeon-affiliated stores throughout Osan City. When making payments with Osaekjeon at these stores, users will receive an immediate cashback of 12% of the purchase amount. The maximum cashback per person is 12,000 won.
The cashback can be checked in real time through the 'Gyeonggi Local Currency' app. However, the event will end early if the allocated funds are exhausted. If the accumulated cashback is not used within three months from the payment date, it will be automatically forfeited.

Lee Gwonjae, Mayor of Osan, said, "This cashback event is a return-type consumption benefit, giving back to citizens the funds raised through the use of Osaekjeon," and added, "I hope many citizens will participate in this event, which not only allows you to enjoy the festival but also supports the local economy."
