View original imageGS Construction announced on May 19 that its wood modular subsidiary, Jaigaist, has been selected as a site for an international training program jointly organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the International Contractors Association of Korea.
On May 16, 22 public officials from 15 countries, including those from Southeast Asia and Africa who are currently enrolled in the Urban Development and Smart Infrastructure Policy master's program at the University of Seoul Graduate School of Urban Science, visited the Jaigaist production facility located in Dangjin, Chungnam. These 22 trainees are currently taking courses on urban design and infrastructure policy at the University of Seoul and are composed of public officials leading urban development practices in their respective countries.
The purpose of this site visit to Jaigaist was to allow participants to directly experience the excellence of Korean construction technology and to discover cases that could be applied to future development projects in their home countries. The program included an introduction to GS Construction's advanced modular housing technology and production process, eco-friendly material utilization strategies, and smart building solutions.

The company possesses Korea's highest level of wood modular housing technology and is currently diversifying its business, including the construction of office buildings using steel modular systems.
