View original imageThis exhibition views Hanok as a living heritage that provides important insights for the future and as a house of ecology that connects the past, present, and future. It is designed to draw inspiration for a sustainable future.
The distinguishing feature of this exhibition is its reinterpretation of the ecological value and communal spirit of Hanok through contemporary art. Participating artists expand on the theme of traditional architecture using a variety of genres, including painting, installation, media art, AI, and sound art. They demonstrate how art can serve as a medium that connects the wisdom of tradition to the present and inspires future generations.
The exhibition actively reflects the regional characteristics of the Bukhan Mountain Han Culture Experience Zone, located near the Savina Museum of Contemporary Art. The program includes a tour that begins at the museum and explores Eunpyeong Hanok Village and the Eunpyeong History Hanok Museum, organically linking the exhibition content with actual Hanok cultural resources and offering a vivid experience of the local sense of place.
