Wadle Founders JiHyuk Park and YongWon Cho Named to Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 List
Gaining Attention with the Conversational AI Agent "Gentoo"
Wadle announced on May 16 that co-founder and CEO JiHyuk Park and CSO YongWon Cho have been selected for the "Forbes Asia 30 Under 30" list in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) category.
Every year, Forbes selects and announces 30 notable young leaders under the age of 30 from the Asia region in 10 categories, including Entertainment & Sports, Finance & Venture Capital, AI, and Retail & E-commerce, based on their achievements on the international stage, influence, and growth potential. This year, Forbes highlighted Wadle's achievements and technological capabilities in revolutionizing the online shopping experience through conversational AI as the reason for their selection.
The two met at the Korea Science Academy of KAIST and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), and have built their teamwork and technical expertise over more than 10 years of academic and entrepreneurial endeavors together.
"Gentoo," the conversational AI agent developed and operated by Wadle, is a multi-agent-based B2B SaaS solution that assists online shopping mall customers in making purchase decisions. When a customer browses products on an online shopping mall, a floating button is activated, and, like an offline store clerk, the AI analyzes the customer's purchase intent through conversation and recommends products to help increase the conversion rate.
