The county sold 25 old caravans and installed five unique new caravans featuring a train-shaped exterior and interiors decorated with cypress wood. In addition, by the end of last month, the county completed the installation of 10 glamping units equipped with indoor bathrooms and showers, and has begun operating them.
The Dorimsa Auto Camping Resort attracts many tourists every year, as it is located right in front of Dorimsa Valley (Jeollanam-do Monument No. 101), where clear water flows between rocks from Mount Dongsak.
Nearby attractions include the Seomjingang Train Village, home to 1,004 varieties of roses, and the Fairy Tale Garden, an emotional destination where visitors can take beautiful photos against a backdrop of colorful flowers and wide open fields.
A county official stated, "The Dorimsa Auto Camping Resort is one of Gokseong's leading tourist destinations, and it also offers excellent access to surrounding attractions. With this renovation, we expect it to be reborn as a must-visit tourist hotspot that people will want to return to."
