Council of Centers for Creative Economy and Innovation Donates Wildfire Relief Fund to Community Chest of Korea

View original imageThe Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Kim Byungjun) announced on May 14 that the Council of Centers for Creative Economy and Innovation (Chairman Kang Youngjae) had donated 18,460,000 KRW to support recovery efforts for wildfire damage in the Yeongnam region.
This donation was raised through the voluntary participation of employees from 17 Centers for Creative Economy and Innovation nationwide. It will be used for a variety of initiatives aimed at helping disaster victims restore their daily lives, including emergency livelihood support and recovery assistance in the wildfire-affected areas.
Kang Youngjae, Chairman of the Council of Centers for Creative Economy and Innovation, stated, "In this national disaster situation, the Centers for Creative Economy and Innovation have launched this fundraising campaign to fulfill our social role and responsibility as regional startup hubs by actively participating in relief efforts for disaster victims and recovery support for affected areas." He added, "We hope this contribution will provide at least some assistance to local residents as they return to their daily lives after suffering significant damage from the large-scale wildfires."
Lee Sungdo, Head of Fundraising at the Community Chest of Korea, said, "We deeply appreciate the heartfelt voluntary participation of employees from Centers for Creative Economy and Innovation across the country," and added, "We will ensure that the donated funds are distributed quickly and transparently to provide real support for the recovery of residents in the affected areas."
