Icheon City to Promote Integrated Support for Local Medical, Nursing, and Care Services
Selected for Ministry of Health and Welfare Pilot Project
Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on May 14 that it has been selected for the "2025 First Medical·Nursing·Care Integrated Support Technology Support Pilot Project" organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
The integrated care support aims to provide comprehensive medical, nursing, and care services to citizens who experience difficulties in daily life due to frailty, disabilities, or illnesses, instead of offering these services separately as in the past.
The pilot project is being promoted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare to establish a local integrated care system ahead of the enforcement of the "Act on Integrated Support for Local Medical, Nursing, and Care Services," which is scheduled to take effect in March next year.
