Listening to Citizens' Voices Through Project Site Visits
Expanding the Foundation for Communication and Participation
On May 9, Busan Urban Corporation (BMC) visited the corporation’s major project sites together with BMC Inotizen, which is operated to promote citizen management participation. The visit aimed to deepen understanding of BMC’s projects and provided an opportunity to exchange a variety of opinions from the perspective of citizens.

View original imageA total of 15 Inotizen members participated in the tour, visiting key project sites such as the Hakjang 1 District Permanent Rental Apartments, Eco Delta City 20BL Public Sale Housing, Ami Happy Housing, Shipbuilding and Marine Complex Center, Osiria Tourism Complex, and Youth Hostel Arpina.
In particular, the group visited vacant units in BMC’s Hakjang 1 District Permanent Rental Apartments, Eco Delta City 20BL (Gangseo Xi), and Ami Happy Housing (Kyungdong Forest Hill), where they were briefed on the background of each project, rental conditions, and management status.
They also visited the Shipbuilding and Marine Complex Center to learn about the corporation’s urban regeneration projects, and further enhanced their understanding of BMC’s diverse ongoing projects through visits to the Osiria Tourism Complex and Youth Hostel Arpina.
At each site, BMC Inotizen members actively shared suggestions and ideas for improvements from a citizen’s perspective while listening to explanations from project officials. They also took part in a discussion session, where they engaged in Q&A and shared their impressions of the visit.
Shin Changho, President of Busan Urban Corporation, stated, “The on-site visit by BMC Inotizen is an important opportunity to directly experience our major projects and to reflect the voices of citizens in our management. We will continue to communicate with Inotizen so that we can pursue projects that citizens can truly feel and benefit from.”
