Recruiting Families Until May 16, Targeting Families with Children in Grades 4 to 6 of Elementary School
Two-Day, One-Night Program at Janggyongri Beach, Yeongheung-myeon, Ongjin-gun, Incheon Metropolitan City
Mapo-gu (District Mayor Park Kangsoo) is accepting applications until May 16, 2025, for families who wish to participate in the 2025 Mapo-gu Family Love Camp, "Let's Go Camping at the Beach with Mom and Dad."
This program will be held for two days and one night from June 13 to June 14, 2025, at Janggyongri Beach in Yeongheung-myeon, Ongjin-gun, Incheon Metropolitan City.
The Mapo-gu camping program for parents and children was first introduced in 2024 and received a great response, recording a high competition rate of about 4:1 at that time.
Various programs were organized to help families feel love and strengthen their bonds, resulting in very high satisfaction among participating families.
In response, Mapo-gu plans to prepare even richer and more engaging programs this year, aiming to help resolve conflicts between parents and children, strengthen family relationships, and create unforgettable memories.
The program is open to 40 families residing in Mapo-gu, each consisting of one parent and one child in grades 4 to 6 of elementary school. Applications can be submitted through the Mapo-gu Office website or by using the QR code provided in the promotional leaflet.
If the number of applicants exceeds the limit, participants will be selected based on their motivation for applying. Selected families will be notified individually on May 23, 2025.
The participation fee is 60,000 won per family. Final eligibility to participate will be granted to families who complete the payment.
Participating families will enjoy a variety of activities in nature, including a family sports day, beach recreation, completing missions such as capturing precious moments in photos, and tent camping. These activities will allow them to focus on each other, spend happy times together, and create valuable memories.
