The Department of Children and Youth of Changwon Special City conducted training to promote a culture of integrity and held a meaningful event where staff pledged to practice integrity through a unique campaign.

View original imageThe training, held on May 8, was organized to reinforce the sense of duty as public officials and to remind participants of the importance of integrity. The session focused on the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act and the Code of Conduct for Public Officials, aiming to help staff internalize the core values of anti-corruption, integrity, and fairness in their daily lives.
Following the training, all employees participated in an integrity performance, holding fortune cookies with integrity messages and placards promoting integrity.
The integrity fortune cookies contained various messages such as "A small promise builds great trust" and "Integrity is not a choice, but a basic principle," providing fresh inspiration and motivation. The event was also a meaningful time for staff to encourage one another and reaffirm their commitment to practicing integrity.
Employees who participated in the activity responded positively, saying, "Integrity, which used to feel rigid, now feels fun and familiar," and "It was enjoyable because it was an activity we could participate in together with colleagues."
Lee Kangkyung, head of the Department of Children and Youth, said, "I hope that even a short phrase inside a cookie will resonate with our staff and become an opportunity to practice greater transparency and fairness in everyday life. We will continue to promote various activities so that a culture of integrity can naturally permeate throughout the organization."
