On May 9, Lee Jaemyung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party, stated, "The rebellion is not over yet," and added, "If someone betrays their master, it is not enough to simply scold them?they must be expelled without fail."

View original imageOn this day, during his visit to Chilgok-gun, Gyeongbuk, Lee said, "If someone tries to take away the master's inner room, they must be driven out," and continued, "Will it all end on June 3? No, it will not. The day it ends is actually the day it begins."
Lee remarked, "The presidential election is about choosing a hardworking servant," and added, "The most important qualification is not about looks, nor whether the candidate is red or blue." He emphasized, "What truly matters is whether the person is loyal and competent. Only by ensuring they work for the people can our children have a decent life."
Starting with Gyeongju, Gyeongbuk, where the APEC summit is being held, Lee plans to visit Yeongcheon, Gimcheon, Seongju, and Goryeong in succession. Through visits to local markets, he intends to listen to the difficulties faced by small business owners suffering from the economic downturn and to hear directly from residents of the Gyeongbuk region.
