[Conference Call] Naver CEO Choi Soo-yeon: "Aiming for Double-Digit Growth in Shopping Transactions... Launching Partnership Products with Kurly"
On the morning of May 9, Naver CEO Choi Soo-yeon stated during a conference call, "We will strive for double-digit growth in transaction volume this year by revamping our shopping application and strengthening membership benefits through our partnership ecosystem."
Choi added, "We recognize that the external macro environment is not favorable, and we cannot say that we are unaffected by it. However, I believe that our shopping app has quickly established itself in the market so far and is making a positive contribution to expanding our overall user base."
She also announced follow-up plans to the partnership established with Kurly last month. Choi said, "To strengthen our competitiveness in the fresh food sector, we will launch a service in partnership with Kurly in the second half of this year. We plan to expand our selection of high-quality products and enhance our price competitiveness."
