On the morning of May 9, Naver CEO Choi Soo-yeon announced during an online conference call, "We are preparing to revamp the Naver app and integrated search," adding, "We will improve the accessibility and visibility of recommended content so that content can be consumed more naturally."
Through this overhaul, Naver plans to utilize artificial intelligence (AI) to provide search results optimized for each individual user. CEO Choi stated, "We also plan to apply personalization to search," and added, "By actively leveraging AI technology, we will personalize user journeys and encourage users to spend more time within the Naver ecosystem."
