According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, due to the influence of a low-pressure system moving over the West Sea from near Shanghai, China, the weather will be cloudy with rain. The expected precipitation is 20 to 60 millimeters in the southern coastal areas of Jeonnam, with some locations receiving more than 80 millimeters. Gwangju and other parts of Jeonnam are expected to receive around 10 to 40 millimeters of rain.
The morning low temperatures are forecast to range from 12 to 15 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs will be between 17 and 20 degrees Celsius. Wave heights in both the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters are expected to reach up to 3 meters. Both fine and ultrafine dust levels are expected to be 'good.'
An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "There may be gusty winds accompanied by thunder and lightning, especially along the southern coast of Jeonnam, so please pay attention to facility management and safety accidents."
