Gyeongbuk Police will deploy a police helicopter to ensure the smooth operation of the Mungyeong Chasabal Festival and to create a safe environment for visitors, implementing multi-layered traffic management.
The Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Police Agency announced that it will conduct aerial traffic control using a police helicopter to minimize traffic congestion around the festival venue during the '2025 Mungyeong Chasabal Festival,' which runs until May 11, 2025.
During the festival, the police helicopter will patrol the skies above the venue, monitor real-time traffic conditions, and identify major congestion points. The information will be shared with ground traffic police to enable rapid traffic resolution and effective response to emergencies.
The Gyeongbuk Police Agency stated, "We have established a multi-layered traffic management system, including aerial support, to ensure the smooth operation of the Mungyeong Chasabal Festival, which attracts many visitors every year," and emphasized, "We will implement traffic measures that prioritize the safety of citizens and tourists above all else."
