Lee Gapsik and Kwon Youngsuk (Eco-Friendly Farm) have strengthened the foundation for agricultural income by increasing management stability and land utilization rates through eco-friendly farming methods and the cultivation of special crops, rather than relying solely on rice-focused field farming. They have also reduced idle labor days.
Na Yoonseon and Han Hyunjin (Hyunjin Farm) operate a diversified farming business that combines rice cultivation and livestock farming (Korean cattle). By completing various educational programs such as eco-friendly agriculture and artificial insemination for Korean cattle, they have acquired broad knowledge and skills and have been striving to produce high-quality rice. Starting this year, they plan to produce not only eco-friendly rice but also a new rice variety called 'Cheonjihyang'.
Lee Gwangil, head of the branch, said, "I sincerely congratulate you on winning the New Farmer of the Month award," and added, "I ask that you continue to play a leading role in the development of agriculture and rural communities by promoting advanced farming technologies and fostering future agricultural leaders."
