Hyundai Motor's Domestic Sales Up 6% in April... Avante Is the Best-Selling Model
Avante Leads Domestic Sales in April with 7,099 Units Sold
Hyundai Motor Company announced on May 2 that it sold 67,510 vehicles in the domestic market in April, a 6% increase compared to the same period last year. The best-selling model in the domestic market over the past month was the Avante.
Overseas sales reached 285,828 units, up 1.1% year-on-year, bringing total global sales to 353,338 units, a 2% increase worldwide.
By vehicle type in the domestic market, the Avante was the top seller last month with 7,099 units sold. For sedans, a total of 18,491 units were sold, including 6,080 units of the Grandeur and 4,702 units of the Sonata.
For recreational vehicles (RVs), a total of 25,728 units were sold, including 6,662 units of the Palisade, 6,354 units of the Santa Fe, 5,223 units of the Tucson, 2,722 units of the Kona, and 1,455 units of the Casper.
The premium Genesis brand recorded its highest monthly sales of the year, with a total of 11,504 units sold, including 4,340 units of the G80, 2,927 units of the GV80, and 3,093 units of the GV70.

A Hyundai Motor Company official stated, "Despite changes in the macroeconomic environment, we will actively promote the sales of new models such as the Palisade, Nexo, and Ioniq 6 going forward. At the same time, we will systematically implement countermeasures by further advancing localization strategies for each market."
