Regulatory Reform Tasks Proposed for the Next Administration
A seminar will be held at the National Assembly to evaluate the legislative performance of the 22nd National Assembly over the past year and to discuss regulatory reform tasks for the next administration.
On May 9, a seminar titled "One Year Legislative Evaluation of the 22nd National Assembly and Regulatory Reform Tasks for the Next Administration" will be held at the National Assembly, hosted by Representative Jang Cheolmin of the Democratic Party of Korea, Representative Kim Jaeseop of the People Power Party, and the Good Regulation Citizens' Forum.
At this seminar, Professor Lee Minchang of Chosun University will present on "Regulatory Reform Tasks for the Next Administration," while Professor Lee Hyukwoo of Paichai University and Adjunct Professor Heo Sinhwe of Hanyang University will give presentations on "One Year of the 22nd National Assembly: How Many Good and Bad Regulations Have Been Proposed?"
During this forum, the legislative monitoring activities of the Good Regulation Citizens' Forum over the past year and regulatory reform tasks for the next administration will be presented.

Kang Youngcheol, Chairman of the Good Regulation Citizens' Forum, stated, "Politically, there may be distinctions between conservatives and progressives, but in Korea, it can be said that there is virtually no political force that deeply trusts autonomy, creativity, and the dynamism of the private sector." He continued, "The new regulatory reform tasks for the next administration that we are presenting today advocate for a fundamental shift in perception from this perspective."
