Thirteen People Power Party Lawmakers from Daegu Deliver 13 Million Won in Wildfire Relief Donations to North Gyeongsang Province
On May 1, thirteen National Assembly members from the Daegu area delivered 13 million won in donations to North Gyeongsang Province to support the recovery from the massive wildfire and to assist affected residents.
This donation was raised by the thirteen National Assembly members from Daegu, who came together with the hope of healing the pain of wildfire victims and helping them quickly return to their daily lives. Kang Daesik, a National Assembly member, visited the North Gyeongsang Provincial Government Office as a representative to deliver the funds.

Kang Daesik, a member of the People Power Party (Daegu Dong-gu), stated, "Daegu and North Gyeongsang are always a united community. The National Assembly members from Daegu have come together to offer this small gesture with the hope that the residents of North Gyeongsang will be able to return to their daily lives as soon as possible. We will continue to do our best to ensure that Daegu and North Gyeongsang can prosper together."
Kim Hakhong, Deputy Governor of North Gyeongsang Province, expressed his gratitude, saying, "At this difficult time, the warm support from the National Assembly members of Daegu is a great encouragement. The donated funds you have delivered will be used carefully to help residents quickly return to their daily lives."
