The gifts delivered on this day included 15 character cameras donated by the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation Gwangju Naeum Pediatric Cancer Center and 60 wireless fans donated by the Yumihoe Foundation. The wireless fans donated by the Yumihoe Foundation will also be given to pediatric patients participating in the Children's Day event to be held at Gwangju Family Land on May 10.
The Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation Gwangju Naeum Pediatric Cancer Center delivers gifts to patients and their guardians every year on Children's Day and during holidays. Since signing an agreement with Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital in November 2023, the Yumihoe Foundation has continued to provide support by donating gifts for celebration events for children cured of cancer, leukemia, and rare diseases, supporting living expenses for pediatric patients, and sponsoring the Hanmaeum Summer Camp.
Min Jeongjun, the hospital director, said, "All of our staff are grateful that gifts are delivered every year without fail to instill dreams and hope in our pediatric patients."
