Through this initiative, the city plans to link previously disconnected sections of the existing coastal path, thereby enhancing connectivity among major tourist attractions and fostering the area as a comprehensive, stay-type tourism destination. To achieve this, the city will invest 46.5 billion KRW to install a 2.25-meter-wide deck, rest areas, observatories, and photo zones along the route.
The distinguishing feature of the Golden Coast Road is that visitors can walk while enjoying uninterrupted views of the sea from the starting point to the end. The trail is divided into three sections, each offering its own unique charm and scenery.
