Name tags and encouraging messages from the students were attached to the trees, making the activity even more meaningful.
Jia Jung, a fourth-grade student at Sinbuk Elementary School, said, "I think the school will become greener and more beautiful when the Schisandra chinensis tree I planted grows. I felt proud to participate in an activity that helps save the Earth."
Ha Hyesung, Director of the Volunteer Center, said, "It was a meaningful activity in which the children, who are the future of the region, planted trees and decorated the school, thereby nurturing the future of the community. We will continue to help the children take care of the trees they planted as they grow up."
