Busan Office of Education Holds Workshop for Kindergarten Consulting and Supervisory Support Group to Strengthen Customized Education
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) held the "Kindergarten Consulting and Supervisory Support Group Workshop" on April 29, 2025, at the seminar room of Busan Electronic Technical High School, with more than 140 participants including kindergarten principals, vice principals, teachers, and educational professionals from the Busan area.
This workshop was organized to enhance the expertise and consulting capabilities of the consulting and supervisory support group, with the aim of improving kindergarten teachers' ability to implement the Nuri Curriculum and strengthen their teaching skills.
During the workshop, Professor Jo Kyungmi from Busan Kyungsang University introduced programs that can be directly applied to curricula and classes, based on the achievements from the first year of the region-based Early Childhood Education and Care Innovation Support Project, which is now in its second year.
Following this, Professor Lee Sunghui from Kongju National University is scheduled to provide an in-depth discussion on "Operating Play-Based Curricula in Small Kindergartens" to help participants develop consulting skills tailored to the increasingly diverse kindergarten environments.
